Default Stripers in the rivers?

I read something on the "On The Water" site yesterday that said someone from SWE made a report of schoolies, and 20 pounders in the Providence, and Taunton River??? Is this true? I know there can be schoolies up there, but 20 pounders?

Not unusual to have some good sized holdovers around albeit a 20# is quite a prize this time of year.

Default Nothing 20lbs but winter fish are around

I guess to smooth out the far fetched OTW report for Rob and the store. Fish are around in the rivers but nothing 20lbs. Rob has a buddy who fishes the river a fair amount who did in fact get one 20lbs a few weeks ago but nothing bigger then 8lbs since that fish. We did get some fish last week but nothing bigger then what you see in the picture.
