Default Which paints, clearcoats?

I've seen everything from Createx purchased at Michaels to Polycrylic from Home Depot to more elaborate concoctions on some of the plug forums, I'm wondering what you guys that are building are currently using... Chief, I think I've seen your comments on plug building in some of my reading and so I'm curious as to what experience has led you to use ....I've been considering ordering some Polytranspar paints and clear finish which have "fish specific" paint schedules, I know that a plug spray painted with a can of krylon will catch fish probably... but it's more fun to make it complicated isn't it? I am using Createx paint and Envirotex Lite as my top coat.

Spray cans do an exelent job also, that is what I use when I first started.

Spray cans two of my first plugs

those look great Bay Stalker, I've heard of the Envirotex, can you get it locally? How are you applying it? I've been dipping and it seems to work pretty well and the coats build faster than spraying...

You can get is at any of the craft stores. I apply it with an acid brush and turn them keeping the temp around 125 to 150deg.
