Default New 5" Pencil Popper - PeanutCaster(TM)

Hi Everyone,

Here's a picture of some new 5" pencil poppers that Chris was talking about. We call 'em PeanutCasters(TM) and they will be available at the Saltwater Edge very soon. I have a bunch made in white pearl, parrot, red/.white and pink, and I'm working on other colors now.

Average weight is 1.8 ounces, they really launch, and were designed for smaller surf rods and stout boat spinning rods. I showed these lures to a national magazine editor recently, and the first thing he said was "Tuna and offshore," which we'll try! Note the very deep profile and they are balanced to throw a heck of a lot of water!

Let the folks at The Saltwater Edge help you obtain them - they will be the first!!!!

Enjoy and thank you!

Rich

Thumbs up

What an awesome partnership Plugcaster and Saltwater Edge, two first class operations manned by first class people.

Rich,

Another super concept and idea. I love the short body with the wide profile. Truely super, that shape will throw not only a good distance without tumble but a good amount of water also.

As I've mentioned before I am honored to be on this Pro Staff. So many plugs to throw and report on so little time. But I'm sure I can suck it up and get out there.

Keep up the good work my friend and congratulation for what I know will be an awesome venture between two class operations..........

I want one of each-seriously please don't leave me out

I love the 7" and think these would be great on light tackle

I would love to see some in pink, black, yellow and purple

If so I'll take all 8 of them

Peace-Andy

Default very nice

... and like Rich said just wait until someone catches a tuna on them next year, then they'll instantly be impossible to get .

Seriously, Rich great work as always. Can't say enough about the quality of product when it comes to these plugs.

Hi Bob,
Good info and thanks. The answer is "NOW." Just a few hours ago I sent The Saltwater Edge some 5" PeanutCasters(TM)......so they can order from Chris and Pete ASAP. Tell them the lures are being shipped!

Default Pink

Have done really well this year with the all pink color right among the bunker schools. Caught five 36" fish on 7 casts at one point during a rain storm last week. The lure casts a mile...
