Default A little help from my friends ( with apologies to Joe Cocker )

Ok - here is the deal

My Dad ( 80 yrs young ) visiting on Wed/ Thursday of this week

and I am responsible for getting him into some fish

Stripers preferably

With the lackluster reports - with the paucity of fish recently - I am afraid of a skunk

While i'd like to think that we can go blasting all over creation - hunting for fish - I do have to keep in mind his age.

So friends- What I am asking for is the closest thing to a " sure thing "

Where you you go to almost guarantee a fish

Should I drop a hook and chunk bait on the reef ?

Throw plugs at Sakonnet

Run to the West Wall

I need some good advise here guys

Thanks

I won't be anyhelp, because all of my "go to places" are fishless. Don't know what happened but Friday I was catching, then nothing. I'm blaming the north wind that blew.

Don't know where you are planning to go, East Passage? I have only been in the bay around Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth. If going there let me know. May have a suggestion or two.

Bob,

Barrington Beach for bluefish. It was been silly a couple evenings this week. No solid idea for stripes.

Say hi for me
