Default South shore 5/26

Hello,
I am a new member, and this is my first "report". I am a shore bound angler, and I come down from CT when I get the chance (primarily early am) every week or 2.

Anyway, got out saturday near one of the breachways. Caught a few schoolies on flies including one loaded with skin lesions. I've seen a few before but this entire fish looked like it had rolled in sand, and the sand wasn't coming off.

Also, as I was leaving, saw a ton of dead squid. I assume this was left over from a bass feeding fest-or do they spawn and check out? Oddly, no gulls were around to enjoy the feast.
