Here’s a good one. I was down at ocean drive at lunch and found blues and small bass blitzing close to shore. I decided to pull over and take a few casts. After a while the fish had dispersed but people kept showing up to take a shot. This one guy in particular really got my attention. He came walking down to where I was casting. The guy was very jumpy and hurried with a concerned look on his face. He was pencil thin and looked and acted like he just got off the crack pipe for lunch. He came down and asked me if there were fish there. I told him so he proceeded to walk down the beach where his friend was standing out on a rock about 15 feet offshore. He needed to wade out but he was in jeans and sneakers. Didn’t stop him. He trudged through the waist deep water out to the rock then stripped down to his underwear and fished alongside his buddy. Can’t say I’ve seen that before. I just left after that.

The fish were in close near castle hill. They never seemed to leave while I was there (only an hour or so). The blitzes only lasted a short period of time but the fish could be seen rolling close to structure if you were looking for it.

HUH, 40's and 50's. I was at Castle yeasterday, but must have just got their at the end of that hour blitz. I did not see where the fish went from my vantage on my boat, but again, I am a fishing virgin, so could have missed it easily. It was a little rough out there, and to be honest, went into the bay to do the lunch thing. I guess I should have went back out there. Oh well, maybe next time.

Same thing today with the bait and fish but it was happening further to the east towards price neck. I think you're right about the wind but it looks like were in for little Noreaster starting sunday. Those are always fun.
