if no one has been apart of the amazing fishing these past few days from the coast they need to get out there even if just for a half hour. Last night was pretty amazing to go out for an hour and play with some great sized bluefish, and schoolies.

Agreed, I was able to get out yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours and we hit some huge bluefish boils. Forgot to bring some wire for the fly line so I ended up losing a few fish as they chewed through the mono. Can anyone give me a hint of what else I can use (product or tactic) to prevent this. Going back out tomorow.

It is fun to catch the blues for awhile, but always looking for that huge bass, and so many blues, you catch nothing but them, it gets to be, "Ok, enough!" Speaking of the 2 freshwater guys........my nephew was down from Canada Labor Day week, and he caught a few blues............nothing really big even, and he was shocked over the fight he got. I wish he got into a 10 pounder or better.........then he would really see something.
