Default Needlefishing Last Night

I couldn't make the wake for Habs due to family stuff so late last night I decided to only fish needlefish. I haven't done that in a long time. In addition I never, ever catch fish on a full moon so I only brought 3 needles; it was more of tribute than fishing. Well, you can guess what happened next. I was into bass. Unfortunately for me, I lost 2 of the needles to large fish in the rocks. I couldn't control either one. They were big.

I've gone 5 or 6 years never catching a bass on a full moon. Last night I get into them and size too? It was surreal seeing these fish hit the needles under a full moon with a warm SW breeze. RIP Habs.

ditto, caught about 20 pounder last night, and the guy with me caught a 25 pounder, but it was light out when he caught his. Mine was start of full moon, around 8:00 p.m.
