Default Last nights storm........?????

I hear a lot about how the fish will still be here, and fall run, warm water still.........etc...etc... "UNLESS WE HAVE A STORM BLOW IN!!!!"
Well, what about the thunder, lightning and rain we had last night???
Will that kill the fishing now????

What does everyone think about that?????

I caught a 20 pounder as the wind and rain was building last night. There's definitely fish out there.

Called it as the lightning got close.

It takes a REAL storm to scare the fish off, if it even does. A little t-storm definitely won't phase them.

To some degree I'm not sure how much I believe in the old "a storm can end the season" wives tale anyways...

Default No worrys about the storm

Unreal action on the south shore of RI past couple of mornings and nights. The fish have realy turned on, and the feeding orgy tonight was something for the record books. I landed a 22 pounder, and that ended a season long dry spell. Really bad luck this year up until tonight. More smaller fish and blues, but it was nice to leave the beach with dinner. Tasted great over wild rice. Caught the fish on a buck-tail, but plus were working fine too.

They're here!!!!!

Bill

Default Terrific Weekend

This past weekend was awesome.....Landed a 18# and 25# back to back. My fishing buddy landed a 30#er. This all happened around noon time Sat. Surprisingly, caught the strippers on steel leaders. The Fall run is starting to look good... Anyone else catchin?
