OF COURSE!! And, no doubt, the fish was actually snagged while codfishing offshore
say hello to URI for me, I just graduated there last Spring.

As additional evidence that the report is actually related to Rhode Island, there are pictures of people fishing in wetsuits. With the exception of Montauk, NY, I don't think you will find people fishing in wetsuits anywhere else along the coast except Rhode Island.

all the fish i see with pics being taken at SWE have a car in the background with Mass. plates on them, so, Can assume all these are being caughtn there, brought here for a picture. Why are these pics and stories not posted in the massachusetts forum? Rhode island forum for RI fish and anglers? Makes it look like they are being caught here, and I do not know of anyone catching anything at all around newport, Middletown???? Fall run coming to an end? never came? Keep hearing fishing is hotter than ever? That is not true at all. I want to hear an honest assessment, not stories of fish, caught somewhere else, and made to look like they were caught here. You watch, now... they will make sure all there future pics will not have the Mass. plates in the background.

This is hilarious

You believe that all these fish are caught in mass but at the same time the Fall run here in RI is done?

While I have not had very good luck lately I blame it more on my timing, location and technics. I can only get out for a few hours a week so I just take the time I have and do the best I can. The SWE fishing report serves to motivate me to get back out there and find the fish. Keep it up, I'll be giving positive posts soon enough.

Smile Frightnight fishing is great!

I fish South County and things have slowed down and picked back up with the weather over the past few weeks. I don't know what to tell you but if you want to believe that no one is catching anything and keep sitting around thinking that then that is great for me less of a crowd more fish for the rest of us. One picture is from my dock where there are sumerged lights and these are the bass hanging around every night from 9PM to 7AM it was taken 10 Days ago. The others are from last weekend I will take this any day especialy in the 2nd week of October!

Default Question to Pt. JudeJoe?

Pt. JudeJoe,

Are you the Joe that makes Pt. Jude lures? I am assuming so by the name if so I have some pics you may like. I have been using a Po Jee 1.5oz all season and recomended it to 2 of my fishing buddies and between the 3 of us we have got about 36 Albies and 10 Bones, just fishing weekends.

Default quick out

Tonight couldn't have gone better, I told my wife i was only going for a couple hours from like 4-6pm. Not exactly Bass time some would say. I hit a great blue around 32 inches, and when i got him 2 feet from shore a bass nailed the blue. the next thing you know i had a bass and a blue on my popper. It was like some crazy story. The next thing you know my spool is unwinding faster than i could manage at first. I finally got it together and had a great fight. As i brought the fish close i saw the beautiful stripes that makes all of us smile. It was alittle over 35inches and 21 pounds. Not to shabby of a way spend 2hrs. Dont we all dream of quick fishing hours like that when we are freezing are way through the night for a single hit. The fishing is hot in Rhode island. I caught a few good fish, but i counted atleast 25fish pulled out of the water. So there is some amazing fishing going on.
