But, I understand what you are saying, but you are referring to just me... if you actually read what I said, I stated 10 people I know that have not caught anything. I am not jerked off over not catching,,,, big deal.... it happens, and I expect it to happen to me first, cuz I am new at this, and,,, not the end of the world,,,, what I said was besides me about 10 people I know, and 3 of them have fished between 20 and thirty years, and they too have caught nothing, and have put their gear away. Now... did you read that, or just what you wanted too? Hell, I/m in Florida for that last week, and have no idea whats happening there lately, and don't care. was just trying to understand how so many people were seeming to catch, and MANY PEOPLE I KNOW.... were skunked for over a month. Lets drop it, you are so concerned with this and starting to get upset with me by the tone of your last message.
I didn't mean for you to take it personally. It should have been more general.

I guess I just don't understand packing up for the season when there's so many fish to the North. But really part of the point was that I don't let reports good or bad effect my fishing.

While it's anything but guaranteed the possibility of the 30+ pound fish still around Plymouth coming by the waters I fish easily keep me going as the fall moves on. There's always pauses in the run and slow nights but it pays to keep going.

As for getting upset, I've taken it fairly well. To be honest it was tough to read your post at the start of the thread as anything other then an accusation that we were fabricating the fishing reports. Which, yeah, I kind of take personally.

It's no big deal. I'm going fishing. Hopefully the results will be better tonight. It was typical Fall Surf Fishing Challenge conditions last night. Gale force winds and torrential downpours. Needless to say no one really caught anything.
