Hey Chief,
Here is a story for you. Man,,, this is poetic justice....Chris and Pete at SWE will laugh at me when they read this....
This afternoon I was waiting for a customer to come home, and I look up, all I see is birds hitting the water by the hundreds.
I was mid way on the Sakonnet River...that's not spot burning right?
Anyway,,,had no pole, so called a friend, told him about it, he comes down maybe an hour later, and nails 5 stripers in minutes on a storm shad, and not a single blue in sight. Now,,,how is that for poetic justice...Me,, who can not find a stripper in last 8 outings, sitting there, see birds,,,, all bass, and I don't get a single one...LOL Somebody is fixng my ass...LOL
Chris and Pete... I can hear you laughing from here.

Frightnight,

If the spot you alluded to was the spot I was at early tonight, it is still hot.

LOL I know that Jimmy, no problem at all. I probably laugh as hard as anyone when people bust on me. I like a joke, even on me. Oh, Spooner, don't know if you were at same spot, I was somewaht vague on the spot, as not to spot burn. I get myself in enough trouble as is without doing that. Ok, now I am off to see if I can find someone to go out on my boat fishing with tonight. No luck so far, and the bay is like glass, and seeing much bird activity. Take care all.

Default Morning Times?

What times in the morning are going to be the best for getting a little something out there?

Default times...

Hey Goober, first or last light are always good calls but this time of year it could be a free for all at any time if you hit it right.
