| Great way to get er done. My suggestion on the teaser drop though is it shouldn't be so long as to be fouling with the main plug. The theory is right on, but the length of the teaser should be 8-10 inches only maybe 12 but no more. Also use your spro on one end and tie your leader to the teaser with a non slip knot or both ends with a no slip knot if you really want to remove more weight. Less twist, less fouling and you should keep a fish's length between the teaser and the main plug on the chance that you may double up. Whoa I 'm sorry I'm getting carried away here. Well good fishing. |

| That makes great sense, I'll have to give it a try. I rig my plugs pretty much as you describe except that I have been pre-rigging my plugs with leader, tying a loop in the end and using a snap swivel for quick changes.

| That sounds like a good idea but how do you keep it all together without creating one big cluster ? As soon as I start changing things around out there, at night, I'm done. I get things so screwed up, so fast, with teasers and leaders and line, oh my. You want get that line back in the water so fast that you stuff things back and before you know it, you got a mess. |

| I keep the leaders coiled up and they fit nicely into my plug box. It can get ugly if I am in a hurry, but I try not to. It only takes a second to coil the leader and it is still faster than tying on a new plug.
