Default livelinging shad

seen a few nice fish caught on live shad, I'm catching small fish on small bait off the beachs in soco, but there not staying around there hitting the beach and moving, good fishing for a half hour then it dies, silversides/sandeels. its been 3 weeks since I've seem bigger bait(skipjacks, blues were spitting them up) I'm starting to think larger bass are around but not feeding on the smaller bait on shore, but will eat a large shad... I guess thats why they call it fishing. ed

Yeah, come to think of it a fly caster was cleaning up on some large shads in one of the breachways last Sunday. Sounds like we should try getting some or at least try some plastic storm shads next time I swing through that area. Good tip, thanks.
