Thanks "no fish". I have not heard of anyone catching anything latetly. It seems like all anyone talks about on this forum lately is everything but. You are the only response I have gotten back from anyone one this thread. I was beginning to think my threads were not getting posted for some reason, but I guess they are. So, I guess no one cares, or they are more interested in what kind of music they listen to while fishing, instead the actual fishing part of it. Well, thanks for the reponse again NOfish, but people do not want to hear from me on this forum, so I am done here. I will look at it once in awhile and see if anything is going on, and check the fishing report, but besides that, I am done. No more posts for me, and I will tell SWE to delete my name. Well, take care NOfish, and good luck out there.

Jeez... take your toys and go home?
This isnt exactly a 'high traffic' forum so the 8 of us that post here can't reand and or post on everyone of them.
Good job with a nice fish.. keep it up.

I don't chime in much. I guess I'm more of a lurker, and when I'm at the keyboard I try not to goof off (too much work to do). I've gotten many good laughs from reading Frightnight's lamenting and moaning all summer long because I am he...equally a beginner (but less fortunate than he, being shorebound without a boat). How poetic it was that he finally got lucky (your make your own luck, right?) while everyone was not. I was genuinely psyched for him, having not yet caught my keeper, and it's great motivation for me to keep at it, even if it will probably be next spring. That said, it seems everyone is catching from boats in the middle of the night...anything left for us dawn/dusk shore guys? Recommendations?

Whoa Frightnight, not you too? Guys we gotta get some sleep here! Everyone is on too much caffeine here lately. The other guys are right you know, there just aren't too many posting up to get any feedback from. So don't go taking your fish and running home just yet. And hey it's going to be winter soon, and you'll be all bummed with striper withdrawal symptoms, and then you will want someone to talk to about fishing. So congrats again on that sweet 16 and good pic too.

Yea, you are all right, and exactly the response I expected, take my ball and go home, take you fish and go home. All appropriate for my pissing and moaning, and normally I would have just posted and ignored it. But what your saying about just the 8 of us and so on is not accurate, and the reason I say that, and the only reason I responded the way I did, because people ask if anyone is going out, and is anyone catching anything, and when you do, it seems that all everyone wants to talk about is what friggin music do you listen too when you surf cast! Did you see that forum? Like 20 people jumped all over that thing, and it appeared to me that everyone was more interested in music instead of actual fishing? I was like holy shit, is this a fishing forum or a sewing circle. Sorry if this or my last response offended you all, but I am a begginer and maybe that is why I am ignored or maybe cuz I am such an asshole, LOL. Sorry for that, it's in my blood I guess. Just had to speak my mind, but will try to keep my mouth shut if possible, and will no longer bother anyone with my trivial fish pics and posts. I will leave the posts and threads to the professionals. Oh, in the winter, when I am not fishing, I will not be talking fishing anyway. I hear you all saying "Thank God" right now. LOL Ok, take care all. Sorry about my bitching and venting. Good luck out there.

The issue is that your post is hidden deep inside someone else's thread.

The main forum, on any board, ALWAYS gets the most traffic. A fresh post there with the nice catch would have definitely seen some responses.

Nice catch by the way. By your description it sounds like the Point Jude Wobblead tube scored another good fish...
