Default Spot burning

While we certainly encourage fishing reports please avoid naming specific spots, whether they are boat spots or shore spots.

General areas are more then sufficient. How is often at least as important as where.

I've got to agree. While there is no guarantee that fish will stay in a specific area, learning new techniques and tactics is guaranteed to increase overall fishing success.

Show a man a fish, happy for a day ... Teach a man to fish, happy for life ...

Definately. I think most people tend to forget that there is always a huge number of people who never post but constantly check these forums. We kinda get into this comfort zone where you think that your post is only being read by the 15 or 20 guys that you always see posting. If that was the case no problem but it's the lurkers that will come in droves. I don't want to start alot of trouble but those of you who fish newport and sakonnet regularly imagine having those areas filled only with the normal seasonal fisherman and not the massive hordes of out-of- state boats that are here now. It's really tough to drive to the ramp at sakonnet point at 4:30AM and find that there are no spots left and realize that only 3 or 4 plates are mass or RI. But again I'm not grumpy or anything
