When you see a drop off of postings in the spring it's b/c people are fishing.

dont wait for people to post that they are catching to get out there.

Good luck, be safe.

I don't know any usual fish spots. Especially from sure. You guys have been talking about some spot in the last few responses, and I have no idea where your talking about. I know it's between 6 and 7 though. Ha ha

Hit one of the south shore first fish spots Monday evening. Steve was just leaving as I arrived. Fished for about 40 minutes and got a couple of shorts. Casting was an adventure with an untaped sliced finger from the day before.

OH MY GOD.... Are you people nuts? Went by the beach, seen 6 people out there, but did not notice anyone catching though. I tried the shore thing for an hour away from everyone else. Got nothing, except wet. I am spoiled. Give me the boat any day. The shore stinks. At least if your not catching you can sit in comfort, and relax. LOL

There were a few there.. Not one of the nicest days to be introduced to surfcasting though...
