| Ok. I've had enough of my tackle box. It's not that I don't appreciate my wife's generosity (It was an anniversary gift). It's just that it's tough to carry, and a lot of the plugs don't fit in it. It also isn't made to go to the places I'd like to. So what's the best alternative? I'm thinking of a Plug Bag but there are a lot of different choices. Which do you use and what makes a plug bag "good". Are they all pretty much the same? Thanks in advance for your help. The following link goes to SWE's selection: http://www.saltwateredge.com/CTGY/SG6A any of these, or any other plug bag have a clear advantage?

| Well basically it comes down to your budget and how much pluggage you want to carry. I have bags by VS (single and double row), Aquaskinz (medium), Canyon (6 tube) and Plano (large with 4 large plastic trays). Best bags in my opinion are the VS

| Learned my lesson on shelling out $$$ for a bag. Had a Rat sneak up to my truck one nite while I was BS'ing 2 vehicles over at a popular breachway and hijacked my canyon double. Lucky I had the inserts out and just had big rigged plastics in it and a couple bucktails. NO WOOD!!! Now I use a BW medium hip and a aquaskins small pouch. I like to go light since then anyways. Believe me, you can put a whole lot more than 5 bigs in there. You can hang them on outside side of the tubes if you really need to. Good Luck

| Lots of velcro, heavy duty stitching, and quality materials that hooks don't easily dig into are the main features for me. Tough, tough, and tough is a requirement. I don't need fancy pockets, just one on each end for pork rind and a spare spool. I like a pocket across the top for leaders and other odds and ends. I also keep one of the 3 lights I carry there. The top flap of the plug bag needs to be long with a LOT of velcro so that if the bag is overfilled the top will still securely close even if the plugs are longer then the tubes. The corners on the bottom of the bag should all have some reinforcement, even the toughest of bags are prone to wear there. Deep and also wide tin/bucktail slots. I think that's it... |

| Pete that sounds a lot like the BW Sports hip or shoulder plug bag. I picked one up at the store about a month ago and it is just right. Plenty of room to fit all the necessities. The leader wallet fits nicely in the front pouch also to keep line , leaders and of course some teasers as well.Good buy. |

| I have an aquaskinz medium and large bag. After I bought those bags I would never buy another bag. Solid and you can fit a lot of stuff. well built, tons of velcro and have had to yank out a squid jig a few times (I never learn) and it didn't rip. This year I will get a small bag and keep it on my belt. Billy |
