Default Wetsuit for Fishing...

I'm thrilled w/ the idea of using a wetsuit for fishing. I like the idea of not worrying about going up to my neck while trying to wade out to that "perfect" rock. I also like the idea of the added bouyancy a wetsuit affords. I own a wesuit for surfing. It's a 3/2 which I'm thinking is not going to keep me warm enough until sometime in June. I'll be buying a thicker "winter" suit this fall and would like it to be able to double for fishing. My question is what should I be looking for in a wetsuit for FISHING. Thickness, style, brand names, anti-chaffing, etc. all info will be helpful. What's everyones recommendation?

Thanks,

Chris C.

Default and another thing...

I guess I need to figure in another $700 for a VS as well ... Odds on the spheros holding up after being submerged? Seriously though, are there any other reels made to hold up under those conditions for a compareable price?

won't work as well as a VS but you could always modify a 704z. drill 1/4" holes in the slots inside the rotator cup and pack the side plate with vaseline and 3 in 1 oil. also, add a little wd 40 under the drag knob. after every trip i would take off the spool and soak it in warm, soapy water.
