Default The hook-up or the fight

I know we all like the outdoors so being in the surf or on the water that is an added bonus, but what is it that drives us to spend an un godly amount of time in money in persuit of the linesider or what ever your species of choice.

We all like to catch fish but is it the excitement of enticing that fish for the enitial hook-up or is it hte ensuing fight? Or perhaps its the quest for that 60#er.

I guess for me its the enitial hook-up and that first drag pull.

Oh yeah. It's that line screaming, heart pounding scare that gets me. Just like flushing a bird while hunting.
