striper fishing later in the season

hey guys, new on this forum, been looking around and finding alot of great information on the website...

heres my thing, i was just wondering what sort of plugs or lures are better for schoolie bass in and around the november time...the reason i say this is that my hunting buddy and myself would like to do some fishing while we are out sea duck hunting if the action with the birds is slow or we just feel like staying out longer...also might as well ask this now, i was also thinking of trying fly fishing this year for them as well...but again, im not sure what is a good beginner setup or what really to use...if any of you guys want to come sea duck hunting and would be willing to show us some flyfishing then we could try to work something out as well
