This was a great thread. Just a bump to make sure it doesn't get buried.

Definitely a top quality thread. It'll be added to a Hall of Fame thread area soon.

Hopefully there will be many more threads like this one here.

I will second that, great thread. It inspired me to go out and get a wetsuit and some wetsuit boots. Last sunday i went out on a popular jetty in NJ when the "locals" were sitting in their beach buggies complaining the surf was too big. Didnt catch anything, but it was fun nonetheless. The funny looks i got were priceless. hopefully ill get some more good use out of the wetsuit this weekend.

Kurt
Ps, matt now when you say "hey do ya think we can make it to that sandbar?" the answer will be yes. hahaha

Excellent thread!

Think I'm gettin' closer and closer to wetsuit'n it. It's gotta be a rush at night, just you, the water and the big bass beetches. LOVE that overhead release technique. One day boyz..........maybe next summer I'll have saved enuf pennies to sport the right stuff. don't wanna half-arse it whenit comes to underwater gear. Thanks for the killer thread, gents!

Now I know why youse guys fish only VS. No other reel could take the submerssions night in and night out, or the rock beatings a whole season can dish out. Cheers!
