Default Goals accomplished, goals set?

What were the one or two most successful things that happened from last year?

What will be the one or two most important goals you will set for yerself for next season?

Just curious and hopeful that we can learn from each other's successes and failures...............

My goal of the season was to catch my first tuna and get some pics of it so I could show off to my family and friends back home in my beloved Quebec....So I spent many days up on the West Wall waiting, casting, sighting, casting, running up and down the wall, thinking, inventing theories of what and where they will pop up....Finally my hard work payed off...I started catching my first "albis" and thanks to that Asian guy who took a lot of his fishing time to immortalize my catches, I have the best memory of my 5 years spent in RI...

Next year goals....bigger fish on smaller gear....
whether I'm here or back home....

Merci RI et Saltwater Edge.....

Have a goal for next season. I've fished from a boat all my life, but now I've transformed into a shore angler since going away to college. I've caught some nice blues and schoolie bass around the bristol harbor area but want to expand and make it down to Newport and South County. My goal for the season is to learn more about the surf and catch some nice fish.

Hey, beaver.

When the season nears and our striped prey begins to show, I'll take ya to a coupla the NPT rocks. The place is huge, and very feeshy!!! You are gonna LOVE it. Shoot me a pm or two, round June. Besides, where is the fun in landing LAHHHGE from a boat ?

In the meantime, have you compiled your winter reading list ???

Great catch PatFly. An albie from shore is worth 5 in the boat. It isn't easy from shore. Not necassarily easy all the time from the boat either, but you know what I mean.

BassDawg,

I've compiled quite the winter reading list. Been reading everything I can about the rhody surf and trying to learn a thing or two. Already started to re-arm my tackle arsenal.

Happy New Year
