Read the Fishing Report

Access the Read the Fishing report for 10/11 on the front of the home page under find fish info. Now that's a good fishing report there Peter. It would have been a great report, if it could of been for Newport. And nice pictures and all, very good job. And I think I might even know one of those guys.

very interesting that arden and rob say the canal is loaded with bait when I'm reading things on other sites that say there is an absolute lack of bait everywhere up there. personally i believe rob and arden because I know them both and know their fishing knowledge and capability to produce nice fish or ten!
just interesting the different reports you hear....

That was the report as of the night before last regarding the bait, so that's very recent. Could have been quiet there prior to that, I'm really not sure. I don't frequent the canal much myself.

It could also be like the sbft run off Newport this year. I thought it was incredible. TONS of fish and for a long time. Those who only remember last year though were very unimpressed.

Deadsville over here (West)
the last 2 weeks (10 trips), mostly eels and white sluggos and only 3 decent fish, I HATE FULL MOONS
No consistent bait or fishing and the one that I cleaned (25+) was empty....
oh well... water was 63 when I went sea-bassing on monday.. could still be a few weeks away...
