Heading out this weekend.. any hints?

Wife & kid are away for the week, nothin to do but fish. Went to Bass Pro shops in Foxboro ( awesome store), & stocked up. Probably going to start out at Narrow river. Any other spots off the rocks/ beach you can suggest? Live Bait or Lures? I never fished this early in the season before. I usually fish off the beaches in the summmer. I can't wait that long this year. Stripers beware.
