When I go and pick up my Van Staal 200, whenever it comes in . Iron Mike told me to load it up with Suffix 50. I've never used Suffix only Power Pro. Is Suffix round in diameter like Power Pro? I have Suffix #10 Mono on my freshwater gear and that stuff is strong as balls.

I agree 100%.

With my bad knees and shoulder I don't do much rock hopping and heavy surf anymore so I'm using reels like my new Stradic FI and older Spheros reels exclusively and the BackCountry is the only line I will use. Those two reel models handle that line so well.

Steve and Eelman turned me on to it also after reading a thread about it on S-B a couple years back.

Had a couple of nice big bass take me around some rocks last week and the Sufix 50 held up even after see sawing around the boulders

It's been my choice for the last few years, and after landing these big fish who I'm sure knew where every good rock to wrap me around was, I'm even more impressed with the Sufix.
