south county has been slow from what i have heard. one of the breachways did give up a 40 but that was more then two weeks ago. The fish are moveing though and often i have heard throughout the coast that what happened an hour earlier for one gent was exactly the opposite of what happened an hour later for another

they are all good spots this time of year, takee the time to check it out

Because I come down from the Hartford area, SoCo is my area of choice-it seems to treat me best as I switch from late spring trout to the ocean. Basically the next couple of weeks look good to me.

A 43# fish when it's slow is impressive. That would be a fish of a lifetime for me.

Arden, your post reminds me of one of my least favorite phrases. Upon parking...I often hear "you should've seen it one hour/tide/day ago". I interpret that as "it sucks, and its going to suck for you". Sometimes I think I should post my plans in advance so others can get out a bit earlier and slay them.

like i said, this time of year, and specifically my personal experiences so far, allways equate instability of fish populations. perfect tides conditions, etc, never hurt but they are far from a garuntee. the fish are active, migrateing, and may hold or move on for no apparent reason
