We really appreciate the great job our members have been doing to keep these forums active and growing. We're looking to encourage even more participation moving forward by rewarding those who post quality content. Especially valuable are the members who begin threads that get everyone talking. Lot's of things can make for a good thread. Great pics & Video, thought provoking questions that drive discussion as well as funny comments and stories are all a huge part of the well-being and growth of the community here. We love the direction it's going and want to reward our members w/ more giveaways and contests. So here's the first one:

We'd like your help in nominating some of the all-time best threads here on the "Salty" forums. Simply locate a thread you've really enjoyed for whatever reason and paste a link to it in a reply here... Once we have a list of nominees we'll post a survey where you can vote for your favorite... The member who started the winning thread gets the BM Danny. Hopefully this contest is a success w/ lots of participation so we can regularly run more contests.

A sincere "Thank-You" to our members who've made this forum what it is and continue to contribute to it's growth and success...

It could be argued nobody has done more to help these forums get off the ground than Chip A.K.A. Frightnight. He's the top poster who isn't employeed at the SWE, and although he'd have his work cut out for him to overtake Pete_G, I'd better get a move on or he'll soon be eclipsing my total. This thread is a great example of Frightnight's willingness to try new things and get people involved on here, it's got everything including a blatant attempt at securing a free SWE sweatshirt, and although there will be no sweatshirt, there could be a BM Danny

How could a relative newcomer with only 2 posts under their belt get a nomination? Check out his very first post and you'll see why. We're happy when one of our reports has maybe 5 pictures and we're thrilled if we can produce just 1 video... Try 27 that's right 27! Photos and 7 videos in this report, nice thread indeed:

Puppet could have won hands down if the girlfriend had been in a bikini and he did provide some high resolution fresh pogy photos that I can use, now if Pete can come up with a tight shot of his mermaid from a week ago, I'm guessing the Danny would be his...otherwise, Chip always makes me laugh...except recently...but he's still managing humor
