Default yesterday's high tide at noon

Check out the observed high tide in Newport yesterday. If that was a full moon high tide there would have been some serious issues. As it was the ocean was flooding over in places I haven't seen it do so in a long time. Ocean Drive is going to need repairs near the King's Beach Fishing area...

I got some pics at Ocean Drive yesterday near Kings Beach. They are in the wife's camera though, but will try to get them.

Nice, I didn't have my camera with me yesterday but that is definitely one spot where I saw some good seawall damage.

Took a picture of the storm surf (2nd beach parking lot). It was after high tide. The water had come up into the parking lot at one point leaving seaweed behind. Lifegaurd chair is around the 2nd wave out of frame.

Have not been able to obtain photos from the wife's camera yet. Will post if I can get them to my computor. I am planning on going out tomorrow, (Weds.), night for, probably the last time on the boat. Is there any bass or blues around? Am I waisting time with it? It has been quiet. No reports of fish coming in at all. Is everyone done for the year? Did the fish pass us by, and already in New Jersey or farther?

They're around, but after a storm like we just had the deck has probably been shuffled.

It's tough to say where the fish will be, where the bait will be (maybe there will actually be some now?), and until someone goes and takes a look it's tough to predict what sort of shape the water is in and whether it has cleaned up from its previous chocolate colored state. Also it will be interesting to hear what the water temps are now, I haven't been out in a boat since the storm.

November is a weird month; there wil be fish but not as many and not as big, unless you get lucky.

Even 3rd beach was all brown. Lots of green crabs dead on the shore too. Im hoping that's because of the intense waves and not because of the water quality. If it's the later, it's not a good sign for us.

Halloween Evening, I saw one of the largest flock of birds feeding ive seen all season, Locally. I am sure there were fish underneath But they were out of range from shore. Sea surface temp chart shows a push of 54 degree water from Buzzards Bay to Newport, and 57 degree water from Point Judith to Watch Hill.
