Default first night back

Took my surgically repaired knee out for my first night of surf casting in far too long a time. Instead of being smart and fishing somewhere with a little better access, I got stupid b/c the knee felt good and the surf was flat, and went out on the rocks.

Sum total - my knee couldn't hack it, I lost both plugs I bought this week at the shop, and didn't catch s@#t. Didn't want to go home with my tail completely between my legs, so I stopped at an easier sand spot. Proceeded to hang up and bust off a wobble head in a place where no one loses tackle.

Went home, drank beer. Need more knee rehab. I want my boat back in the water.

Nice board guys. How many more posts for a VS?

i feel your pain. i had ACL surgery at the end of june and was back on the rocks going strong until about 2 weeks ago when i fell down and banged my knee hard. i was gonna call it quits for the year but i ended up going down to SoCo with my girl yesterday for some day fishing, it was comfortable on the sand...

Had both knees scoped by the way guys, not major work as both of you, but I know where your coming from. Good luck to both of you, and welcome aboard Jay.

When it comes to scampering around on the the rocks, I'm glad I'm short. A lot less stress on my joints.

Hopefully the winter time encourages some healing Jay.

You've got a long way to go for a board bought VS. We had to come up with a reasonable number in case the board really takes off. Imagine a bunch of BigFish's from s-b.com all reaching 10,000 posts simultaneously. That would hurt...

If he had done all that grumping here he'd have $200 to show for it.

Pete - you are way more patient of a person than I could ever be.

Good luck on the block.
