What's the latest in the season you've ever caught a striped bass?

Thanksgiving.

Typically lack the motivation by then after weeding through slim pickings of small bass. And lose the idea in my mind that the next cast could be the one. Going through winter though always re-ignites my motivation to fish. Come April I begin to wonder why I ever stopped. And the cycle begins again.

If it helps motivate anyone Dennis Zambrotta caught two nice fish last night out on the Block; one in the mid 30's and another pushing 40 pounds.
