| If there was a $300 plug bag that truly lasted the rest of your life and did everything perfectly (and even possibly be custom built to your specs), would you buy or be interested in it? |

| a few years ago i thought it was crazy to buy a van staal.....now i have one and realize its worth every penny. I think three hundred dollars for a plug bag is a little over the top, but hey...i could change my mind ![]()

| not a chance. i build my own plug bags out of surplus military bags and fluorescent light tubes. the final cost per bag is under $10, so i could build 30 of these bags for the cost of one of the others. even if each bag only lasted me a year or two, i'd be in my late 60s by the time i went thru them all. and at the rate that i'm going thru them now, each one will last at least five years. |

I had heard a few years ago that this would be the price if someone ever started building bags to those old specs. Apparently it wasn't a joke. |
