Hey guys, like fright,im kinda new at the striper thing. Been a fresh water fisher most of my life, and recently and happily converted. Just curious if any one fishes the plymouth mass area and if so, does anyone know around the time of the year the fish head up this way??. I did fairly decent off the jette in plymouth but nothing really worth mentioining. Thanks for any responses ![]()

Howdy, I run a charter and spend a ton of time in the Plymouth/Kingston/Duxbury area. May 1 is a great date to target. I have seen a ton of nice fish taken from the jetty at or near high tide early AM (near the bridge is good). When you were allowed to use herring it was the best bait for that time of year. If the fish are on herring I would try larger storm shads or large deciever pattterns on the high outgoint tide. If you are able to get out in a boat there are tons of options.

Thanks for the invite , I think I need to take aclass first ! I'm not knicknamed the "DUNKSTER" for staying dry! I believe I need a very stable YAK , like a 17 foot Boston Whaler would do the trick ! I'll give it a try if you teach me not to fall over board Tie One On ! Joe
