fishing areas??

Hey guys,
I recently got a slip at the Moby Dick Marina in New Bedford. I've always fished in the plymouth area so this is a totally new area to me. Does anyone have any suggestions on some decent fishing areas in the area

Might be tough to get info on the area, tight lipped crowd around there. How big is the boat?

24 foot bayliner cierra, not looking for specific spots just a general idea

Hmm, tough crowd. I'd help out but my normal territory ends shortly after Westport. Tricky but rewarding water in that area. Maybe pick up the Cape and Islands Boater's Guide by On the Water if you're thinking of venturing out towards the Islands. They're not too far away and the fishing is legendary...
