Default Dunked reel

Took a spill and dunked my Cabo 40..
What measures do you recommend in cleaning up the reel ?

rinse thoroughly in fresh water
let dry.
remove the spool, and drag knob) from the reel.
check for salt, regrease if needed.
If a lot of salt, unstack the washers, wipe them down, and then put them back.

if you are sure it got really soaked, you can open the side and check for salt, if it looks good, add a bit of grease and good to go.

Thanks 'Rockhound'. Fortunately, I was fishing where there were some outdoor showers for a good quick fresh water flush for the reel.I di unassemble to check for sand, water..and regreased.
