Small Salty Spinning Reel?

Shimano Spheros 3000 $60 used a few times
Quantum Boca 30 $90 new with 14# fireline on it
Daiwa Tierra 3000 $115 new

What do you guys think would hold up better in the salt?

I'm not familiar with the Daiwa you mentioned, but people have had success with both the Spheros and the Boca.

Both are built for saltwater and as long as you're not submerging them they should give you good, durable service in the salt.

Both companies will also take care of you should you have any issues.

The Spheros is a fantastic reel for the price.Have had my 8000 since the 1st year they were intro'd.

I just recently purchased a Boca and its quality,fit and finish are top notch.The drag is awesome.Next year will be the real test.

Couldn't help myself so I got both the Boca and the Spheros for $110 total. Barely a fingerprint on 'em. The guy I got them from also said that the Boca's drag was superior. Oh I can't wait for Spring!
