Reviews of Loomis 8'10" Rod????

Does anyone use this rod? It is the Model #SUR1064S.
What do you think of it? I was thinking of buying one but my only concern is that the butt is too long.

It's a versatile stick, and a great lighter plugging rod. It's capable of throwing eels too, but not monsters. It can throw a 2 and 1/4 ounce Danny, but not too much above that. It's got enough power to deal with larger fish, but not so powerful that a schoolie can't pull against it. It works Pencils like a champ, with enough whip in the tip to really get the lure to dance.

I guess to some degree it's a step or two before an all out, 10 foot, 1 to 5 ounce stick.

Don't own the model in question however love the SUR965S...but as mentioned before your not going to be able to throw heavies out to sea with em.
