Help Selecting a Surf Spinning Rod

I have 2 10' Ugly Sticks that a heavy as all get out so I recently purcahsed a new 9' St Crioux Triumph Surf Travel Rod. I am still waititng for it to arrive and it was only $160. The beauty for me is that we travel and drive from PA to Martha's Vineyard in the summer so having a travel rod saves space.
