i picked up 3 of them but why is my package 3 lbs?

The package w/ box and packing materials probably was just over 2lbs... Our system sends it thorough at 3lbs.

No matter what, the shipping rate you pay is a flat rate. ($6.49 for UPS Ground)

Hope this doesn't cause too much confusion.
