Just a quick toss out! The phone here at home and I think in the store as well has been ringing off the hook regarding the possible tuna off Newport. Well, I have to say to the best of my knowledge THIS IS A RUMOR Most of the SBFT action that we are aware of has been from Nantucket north toward Boston. I would have to say I wish it was true because I could use the business right now as its been slow guide-wise. Getting back in the game later than planned has been tough. With the repowering of the 21' Parker and just about every other thing that could go wrong with a boat I think we are there! Thanks PJ!
Clients who I've fished with for years have either made plans to go elsewhere or are not coming until later in the season. With this being said I have plenty of open dates now through the end of the season and with some great tides coming up and I'm sure some great hard tail action it could fill up fast. I will also be available for some of the Cape Cod Tuna Fishing starting this week if it heats up again. Well, I hope to see everyone out there and Tight Lines.
