We're happy to provide a section on the website for Saltwater Fishing clubs and organizations to post news, events and club discussions. Salty forums members checking in here will no doubt get to know GannetGil the public relations chairman for the club.

Here's some basic info on the club:

• Club website located at: www.WeekapaugSurfcasters.com
• Meets the first Sunday of every month at 1 p.m.
• Meetings are held at the Quonochontaug Grange Hall on Route 1
  between West & East Beach Roads in Charlestown, RI.
• The Club has two fishing contests an annual and a two month (October/November) event.
