From Points South (New Jersey, New York,
Connecticut) |
- Interstate 95 North to Route 138 East (exit 3 in
Rhode Island)
- Head towards Jamestown Bridge (no toll fee) and
Newport Bridge ($2.00 toll)
- Once you cross the Newport Bridge from Jamestown
take the follow RI 138 E toward the exit that reads "Fall River/Cape
Cod Route 114
- Go ahead and follow the highway which will lead to
another exit with no alternative way to go but off this exit.
- Stay to your left on the off ramp and at the set
of lights at the base of the ramp where you see Newport Grand turn left
heading toward Route 114.
- Follow this road through three lights. You'll go
across Route 114 and onto Green End Ave. At the forth light which is
about two miles up you'll see a 7-11 Gas Station on your left turn left
at this light onto Aquidneck Ave Route 138A.
- The Saltwater Edge is about 1/4 of a mile on your
right in the plaza across from the Aquidneck Lobster Co.

From Points North (Boston, New Hampshire, Maine) |
- Interstate 95 South to 195 East
- Look for Route 24 South in Fall River MA
- Continue on Route 24 S toward Tiverton. Go over the
Sakonnet River and continue south until you see the exit that reads
Middletown/Newport Beaches Route 138 and take this exit and bear to the
right at the base of the exit.
- Stay on this until you get to a light where you'll
see Clement's Market turn right at this light heading south on Route
138 toward Middletown
- Stay on 138 for about 6 miles or so where you'll
see a Dunkin Donuts on your right and a few quick lights stay to your
left here and turn left onto Route 138A (Newport Beaches) which is also
Aquidneck Ave.
- Proceed ahead about a mile where the Saltwater Edge
will be located on your left in the plaza across from the Aquidneck
Lobster Co.
